Lost Treasure Page 5
"Don't tense up,” he whispered. His voice was rough. She opened her eyes, not even remembering when she had closed them. She saw a man full of curiosity and vulnerability.
"I'm tense, because I want you so much. I want to feel you in my hands, in my mouth, and in my body."
He groaned at her words. Elena looked down at his body. His arousal pushed against his modern jeans. Unable to resist, she caressed him through the material, and he quickly covered her hand, pushing her against his erection.
"Oh yes, little bird. Feel me. Touch me.” He fumbled with the button and zipper until the head of his cock peaked out. A small dot of his seed showed how much he wanted her. She couldn't hold back as she grabbed him and rubbed her thumb over the tip spreading his essence.
Hauyna worked at removing her bra, but she ended up having to undo the clasp so he could slip it from her arms. He made quick work of her pants as she worked his own clothes off his body. When they were both naked, his hands didn't come off her skin as he lowered her slowly to the floor where the cool blankets welcomed their heated flesh.
It was amazing how fast a body could work up a sweat, but the heat they generated by just touching and kissing was unbelievable. Elena's body tightened with each touch of his hand and each brush of lips. Her hands worked along his body until she could memorize each plain, each crevice, each little mound of muscle. He was a god, and he was hers.
Hauyna could not believe this woman who was in his arms. Her body pressed up against him as her breasts pushed against his chest. God, he had longed for her for so long. He could not touch her enough. She was like a long-awaited spring rain that held all the magic of new life. She blossomed under his touch. With his lips and tongue, he brought a nipple into his mouth. His little bird arched under the ministration, and he smiled against her skin.
Her legs moved, encompassing one of his legs until his knee touched her center. He felt her heat and her desire dampen his leg. With a finger, he pushed apart her folds and found her clit. She purred and bucked her hips begging him to continue. Well, how could he deny her, so he dipped inside her, causing her legs to clench and hold his hand hostage between her strong legs.
Their lovemaking was slow, but he wanted to make sure this was right and that she felt everything he could give her. He wanted to open up and bond with her. He felt a powerful need to have her, to consume her. He needed to be inside her, to feel the luscious silk of her core.
Without further thought, he moved above her. She grabbed his waist, anticipating what he was about to give her. His heart clenched at her easy welcome of his body. He positioned himself at her entrance and looked into her eyes.
"Elena Flabear, mine.” And he thrust into her. He felt her body tight around him, and it made him harder. His hands clenched at her sides, and her hands held him tightly.
"Yes, Hauyna,” she screamed. Elena had never felt anything so powerful. This man was pure, hard-core rock. As she looked up into his face, his head was thrown back, and the veins in his forehead showed his strain. She wiggled her hips and moaned.
"God, Eleeeena.” And he began to pump. Wildly, passionately, untamed. She found his rhythm and together they stroked each other. Their skin felt on fire. The light faded, and the only thing that mattered was reaching that profound explosion of passion. She arched her back and scored her nails down his back. Her hair had fallen from its ponytail and plastered strands tickled her neck and cheeks.
He captured her lips, kissing her with a fierce need. He worked her lips, down her neck and across her collarbone as he went in and out, in and out of her body with his cock. The climax built. She could feel it. She felt it in him, too. Then, finally, she reached it. Her release raced through her until she felt the tingling in her toes. Her body tensed as she cried out his name. He followed her with one final thrust. His heat spread inside her.
Her turned to the side, slipping from her body. Pulling her into his arms, he kissed her temple. “I love you."
While he lay beside her, she let her fingers play in the hair at his chest. She couldn't get enough of him. “I love you, too.” She moved to place her hand under her head, knocking it against the table at the end of the bed.
The jarring caused something to fall to the floor. Elena looked up and saw that it was her father's journal. A piece of paper peaked out from the middle of the book.
"What's this?” Reluctantly, she moved from Haunya's warm body. He turned on his elbow and watched her bring the book back where they sat.
"What did you find?” Hauyna leaned over her shoulder to get a better look.
She pulled the paper from the book and began to unfold it. It looked old. Pieces of the edges had been ripped and torn. As she opened it, her mouth dropped. Hauyna gasped.
Across the middle of the page were four cups. Two gold and two silver. One looked exactly like the one Hauyna had been cursed against. Four names were etched across the bottom. Hauyna, Ali, Ober, and the last could not be read. The letters had faded away.
Hauyna pulled the paper away. He held it in his hands and just stared. Elena wasn't sure what to make of his expression. For a moment, she thought he might cry or scream.
"Hauyna,” she said, placing her hand on his knee. That seemed to break his gaze. He turned to her.
"These are the elders. The last one is Akria.” He gently traced the names with his fingers. She could tell he held much emotion for his fallen tribesmen. He handed the paper back to her and pulled her into his arms.
"I don't think I have thanked you for saving me, Elena. You have no idea what living in that dark hell was like. I would not wish it on anyone."
"I know.” Elena didn't really know what to say. He held so much pain, and she would do anything to help him ease it. “What does that mean? Why are you so upset?"
"They have been cursed."
She felt her breath leave her. There were others? As she looked down at the paper, each cup held something different. Where Haunya's had rubies around the edge, the other gold one had pieces of jade. The silver cups were intricately carved with a design of a jaguar and a bear.
"Yes, they are cursed.” Hauyna pulled on his clothes, and Elena followed his lead. His face had turned hard and cold. He walked out of the tent, leaving her behind.
Elena quickly finished dressing and ran after him. If they were to remain together, he needed to learn to share things with her.
She found him standing at the edge of a cliff. His pain radiated out to her. Her chest felt tight, making her breathing sharper, faster.
"Hauyna? Look at me.” When she reached him, she grabbed his arm turning him slowly around. He gave in to her. She knew he could resist if he really wanted to.
"What does that mean?"
"It means, my love, that there are three more out there. Three more that need to be saved."
Hauyna pulled Elena into his arms, bringing her close to his chest. She buried her face there and sighed.
"Sweetheart, I am an archaeologist. We'll find them."
